Pre-Easter Manic
I had to send something to Queenie and my sister, so I popped into town to make sure the parcel get processed before the holiday shutdown.
I popped into Wetherby during lunch, the carpark was absolutely crazy. After 10 minutes, I finally parked up. I marched down to the post office, and I exclaimed, "oh my god!" outside the post office and the lady at the back of the queue chuckled. I said, "I should have gone to Boston Spa!" Then the queue got even longer, and I was lucky to be served before the two chaps queued for the travel money service and the one assistant went to serve them first. By the time I went back to the car, and left Wetherby, the traffic was better, all because Morrison's sent 3 of their staffs outside to direct the traffic.
I will remember to go to Boston Spa for similar situation in the future!

Replacement LED
I exchanged a faulty LED bulb with another under warranty, but technology moved on and the new bulb looks a lot different, outputs a lot different and starts up a lot quicker. But obviously I am not paying to replace all 4!

Fire Extinguisher Fun
I got a few unwanted carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, now various bit of my house and garage has an extinguisher. My old one can be retired and I may let it off with my niece and nephew! I first worry about storing it in a car, but then, in theory it is okay up to 120F, which in a hot car in England it is still practically impossible to reach 45C, I will leave it in for now.

British Horological Institute Museum of Timekeeping
The Museum of Timekeeping was open for the 'Spring Forward' special event, we took the opportunity to look at Southwell and Upton.
It was interesting to see how clocks developed and how delicate watches are, it was £5 well spent.

Last Maplin Trip
I stopped at Maplin to check out the closing down sale. Some items were reasonably priced, but many were still more expensive than internet items, no wonder they are going under.
I got some new rechargeable batteries, but I also got a load of alkaline batteries. When the alkaline batteries are so cheap, it just took the incentive out of rechargeable batteries...

MOR Pork, Super Green Veg & Lentil Sausages
When I picked up the MOR Sausages from the marked down pile, I was not convinced. I cooked them on my new griddle. They tasted quite nice, Sarah worried about the salt content, but it was reasonable. I will definitely pick them up again at the right price.

Just when we thought Winter is over, the snow came again. My sister asked if the weather will be settled down by then, I really cannot guarantee!

When you read a news story about engineering failure, especially bridge collapse, you wonder why they engineers forget their calling into the order.

Squidgy Chickpeas
If the chickpeas are very squidgy, it kinds of defeats the purpose. Similar to daal, there must be some texture left to identify them, otherwise everything is just mushy. Maybe I will stick with dry pulses in the future.

Luke Jerram Museum of the Moon
I missed Luke Jerram's moon when it was in Light Night Leeds 2017. I finally saw it in Leicester Cathedral. Nice.

Sudden Snow
I opened the door and saw this...
The condition was vary bad...

The microwave cooker that is failing on rice is doing well in the pasta department, maybe I will keep it for that purpose.

When I got the flu, I wanted gummy coke bottles. Then Sarah informed me she was struggling to find them. I started looking around, they are gone! Why noone stocks Haribo coke bottle anymore? All I am left with inferior coke bottles if I could find any at all!

Casino food's quality to cost ratio is only good when it is subsidised, otherwise it is really waste of time.

Park Mobile
Leeds started to remove some parking meters, I had to use the Park Mobile. Obviously this has been around for years, but I am finally forced to use it. I supposed it has the perks of keeping records of parking rather than having to keep the old parking receipts.

Victoria Quarter Mosaic
I took the opportunity to wander in the quiet snow covered town. The Victoria Quarter new mosaic is now completed. It is nice to see modern art injected to a Victorian building.
