Pollen Bomb

News kept talking of a pollen bomb, it makes sense, but it is hard to know if it materialised.  Followed on searching pollen bomb, it took us to Kleenex Pollen Forecast, I wonder who sponsers that.

Hose Connector with Water Stop

I never paid too much attention to the water stop, that explained why my hose pipe doesn't work properly (when I connect the hose with stop on the tap).  Stupid me.

Cup Noodle Pork Tonkotsu

I saw a Cup Noodle in the shop, so I bought it for nostalgic reasons, albeit very non-recyclable packaging.

Distinctly Cup Noodle flavour... If you think very hard, you could faintly taste the tonkotsu... It does make a pretty flower pot.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park 2021

Just checked my blog, we haven't been back to Yorkshire Wildlife Park since 2014, it has changed so much.  When we went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, they were just working on their Project Polar.  Now they expanded across River Torne, has a new entrance, a whole new shopping area.

Kamut aka Khorasan

I got a loaf of kamut, aka khorasan wheat, bread.  It feels different from the normal bread, but we cannot put a finger on it.

Warranty Replacement

If you know something is relatively new and broken, it is already good to ask for a warranty replacement first before splashing out.  I saved us £150!

Brick BBQ

For a long time, I thought my brick barbeque was special.  Recently when I was clicking around Argos, I saw a brick BBQ kit, which looks identical to mine.  Not long after, I found Tesco also used to do a kit.  So it was just a shop bought one!  And from studying the Argos image online, it also explained what was that spare grid and why the bottom tray been burnt!

North Lincolnshire Excursion - Day 2

We popped into Barton Upon Humber, we were disappointed loads of shops are still closed, especially disappointed that the Old Tiles Works was still shut.  

I had not seen the Humber Bridge from the South side, it is a lot quieter than Hull for sure.  We tried our best to support the local business, so we bought a few things from the Viking Way Cafe.

 The Ropewalk was a nice gallary and was open!  The building was very very long indeed.

North Lincolnshire Excursion - Day 1

Before Go Ape at Normanby Hall, we had a little walk around. An albino peacock decided to show off!

A little walk along the Viking Way was very pleasant.

Leeds' Foreign Cuisine - Thai

Leicester is famous for their South Asian cuisines, as well as Turkish food.  Sarah asked me what is Leeds'? 

I first thought West Indians, then I counted loads of Thai restaurants in Leeds, and a few "chain" Thai restaurants started in Leeds.
