I do understand why people keep old pieces of wood, but I think we should always use the materials whilst fresh.

We went to a local pizza joint.  It was nice,  not sure it was 13 quid nice...  I suppose everything has gone up in price.

I have jammed extra filters on the recirculator in the kitchen.   More is better in this situation.

Work Trip

I stayed away for work the other day,  and I made a detour to visit some friends,  bonus. 

Conservatory Hot Pot

Without a kitchen, we made a hot pot in the conservatory with the camping stove.  Atmospheric.

I have acquired this the other Christmas, I finished my normal tea stash, so I finally cracked this open.

Austin's Funeral

Austin has passed away.  He was a nice guy.  We all went, it was a nice sent off.

Reclaimed Wood

I have reclaimed a piece of shelf, and I am going to make it into a window sill.

I got two new radiators, this is really making the old ones look ugly!

I am trying out a new SIM, I tried it in the S4, and the phone keeps dying.   It is fully demoted as a podcast player. 

Simple Taste

When I was a child, I ate fried eggs with soya sauce on rice.  I have rediscovered it, it is nice.

Octopus Reminders

I gets reminded to unplug my laptop if the electricity is high carbon by the little octopus rather or not I am logged in, I wonder if the octopus will remind to conserve if they are off grid.

Hand Tools Problems

I thought I could rely on the good old hand tools, except, apparently they can give you blisters!  I never had a blister in the palm!

Hungry Coworkers

The shared office was having some free pizza, last time the pizza didn't turn up on time, so this time I didn't go down till half past, when I went to see the free pizza, apparently they were all gone in 6 minutes!  I won't make the same mistake again!

Rubbish Burning

I don't know what my neighbour is burning day in and day out.  It is getting a little annoying.  I wouldn't feel sorry about my barbequeing!

True IKEA Experience

We went to IKEA on a Sunday afternoon, actually looking at furniture, the true IKEA experience.  I am not a fan, must avoid.

Man with a Saw

I got a joiner to fit a bit of skirting, whilst he was here, I got him to chop a few bits of wood.  I should have thought of other things for him to chop!

Important Snagging

Now the tradesperson have come and gone.  I need to find all the faults as soon as possible and call them back when they are still remotely interested.

Lamb Ambushed

I bought a samosa, assuming it was vegetarian, but it appears to have meat, possibly lamb, let's hope it was sufficiently small amount to not trigger allergic reaction.

Wren VR

Our friends talked about their Wren VR experience.  My kitchen is so small, so they did not think it was necessary for us to look around in the VR goggles.  

AA Discounts

When I was at the Halfords cashier, I cannot find the AA discount code, I suspect it has been discontinued.  I am not happy about it.
