Ebay Lucky Dip II
Instead of getting a new cheap jigsaw, I snapped up a goodun from ebay, just as the seller listed at a competitive price for a quick sale. We both got what we wanted.
Then I was looking for a television, and a seller accepted my offer!

If It Sticks, Push With A Stick
I was working with some bitumin, again. This time I haven't got a ladder, so after reaching as far as I could I decided to push it with a stick. It seems to work.

Placbo Heating
With the help of smart meter, we have worked out that the fake flame takes the same amount of electricity as my very bright LED bulb. I am not sure it is worth it, let see about next Winter.

Fast Internet
I never had fast internet in my life, unless you count ADSL when it first came out. As ADSL being phased out, so to speak, I took out a fibre boardband. It is fast! Now if I have to wait, it is the server side being slow...

Frame Sealant
As much as frame sealant says they provide the flexibility, when the windows are south facing, I can already see the expansion and contraction, and I am filling in the gap. I hope I can get the right thickness before my last tube of sealant runs out.

Honest Fava Beans
We saw the Honest Beans from a television programme, then when I came across them on clearance, I picked them up. They are indeed very nice, cute miniature broad beans. I will definite keep an eye out for them next time.

Elizabeth Botham in Pickering
We finally went to the Elizabeth Botham in Pickering. I am not sure the tea were good. The crab sandwich is all white meat, which was nice. Coffer cake has a moist infusion, which is also nice.

Boiler Flow Temperature
I was chatting with the boiler guy. I asked him about reducing flow temperature, as it turns out, it is a bit pointless for us, because I rarely turn it on, and zero risk of overheating the house, especially our radiators are not oversized.

Sander
I need to paint the fascia, so I know I need a sander. After talking to our friends, they also agreed sander is useful. Since then, I used the sander to sort out the door, adjust the windowsill, skirting board, wall. Useful indeed.

Dumb Vacuum Robot
I am not convinced the smart vacuum robot is smart enough, so we just went to get a dumb one. It was actually quite dumb, but driving it as a remote vacuum isn't too bad.

Beast From the East
Don't be fooled by the name "Sudden stratospheric warming", there is nothing warming about it. We know it as "Beast from the East", as cold air from the Northeast results in large quantity of participation. This time was only 5" of snow, and a fair bit of rain and wet snow.

Cards Against Humanity
We have picked up Cards Against Humanity - Family Edition from a charity, brand new in wrap. We never understood it, then we tried to play it with the visitors, but their kids prefer their mobile devices. Then I realise Tom would like it, so we censored and it was well received.

Hydrogen Education Redcar
I came across the Redcar Hydrogen Community, before then I didn't know we are actually planning some domestic Hydrogen trials.
I popped in and give them a quiz. I have also learnt something new, the hydrogen hob flame is orange!
