Roasted Chicken Broth
I rescued the roasted chicken carcass. The broth reminds me what I had growing up, the stuff that is out of the box. Maybe I just need to roast the bones before I make my broth next time!

Handy Person on Wheels
We went to help move some furniture, than we did some meter reading, then we did some drain cleaning... In return for some ham sandwiches and chicken dinner.

"Italian" Food
We went back to another Groupon deal we had before, we have now concluded we are never going back. It is some very strange "Italian" food, anything with some balsamic and some cream. Nevermind...

Hyperia
Hannah Fry went on Hyperia on her show. I wonder if I should have waited and want on it when we were there.

Post Easter Shopping II
We went to another Sainsbury, this time, we did get a couple eggs at a decent price. James was sharing his M&M Bunnies with me that he had got them for pennies!
I will keep looking.

I made a mistake of my calendar, I when to the football ground two weeks before I am scheduled to. It is bigger than I imagine. I wonder if we would ever go to watch a game.

Post Easter Shopping
As it appears, everyone has the same idea about post Easter shopping, the shop was busy. We did see some pretty eggs, but we refrained from buying them!
We still managed to catch the last of the cheap Easter veg, which is a bonus. So much marked down bread!

Peak District Holiday - Day 7
Second leg of the holiday was also over. We checked out as late as it would allow us, we threw in a Yorkshire Natural History Museum and Hillsborough Park and Walled Garden.
We drove home after that. When we got home, I went straight to the plants to see if they have died and gave them some, or too much, emergency water.
After that, we just started to unpack and relax, home at last.

Peak District Holiday - Day 6
We were treated with some croissant before slowly going into town. Sheffield city centre was busy with snooker fans.
We walked around and around, Winter Gardens, Cathedral, then we went onto Kelham Island. It is now free, which is a bonus, shame the start of the museum wasn't running.
There was also Kelham Island Table Tennis club, so we played for nearly an hour before we headed to dinner in a nearby pub with a Groupon for some British Tapas.
We wandered back into town, got very lost along the way and walked through all the different bit of the city centre before catching the bus back to the hotel.
Another eventful day.

Peak District Holiday - Day 5
Swift movement on the final day, check out time at 10am, and the children were itching to leave by 9am.
We left at 10am, and went to Sheffield, along the way, we went to Abbydale Industrial Hamlet, Nether Edge and the Botanical Gardens.
The end of one holiday was the start of a second busy holiday.

Peak District Holiday - Day 4
Today was the day I was waiting for, Buxton GoApe. It was not as scary as it claims, regarding the Tarzan. And it was actually quite enjoyable.
More food, more laundry, and the packing.

Peak District Holiday - Day 3
I finally left the house for the first time when we went out for pizza dinner. It had a table football, so we have a few games of that.
Why going out when I can just watch this all day from the inside.

Peak District Holiday - Day 2
I mostly stayed home when everyone went out for walks. I was enjoying my peace and quiet, made some food, do yet more laundry. What a nice relaxing holiday, if you exclude all the screaming kids bit

Peak District Holiday - Day 1
I worked in the morning and we drove down to Wardlow. Sarah never went on Mortimer Road, so after prepping her for the hair pin bends, off we went. I was slightly scared when she stayed on 3rd gear rolling down the hill towards the bend.
If the forecast was nicer, I would have brough Unthank, but oh well.
We made it. The 3/4 dishwasher was perfect size for our needs.
There were washer and dryer, so we all took the opportunity to do out laundry too.

Early Climatization
Everyone is saying there is still a risk for last frost, but I really think my plants need to be hardy. I also believe my South facing recessed garden should be adequately protected. Lastly, they can either go out or get cooked in the conservatory, so off they go. I am sure they will be just fine.

Big York Walk
We went to a craft festival in York, except we didn't do any craft. We did walked all the way around the wall and had a look at the Fishergate tower. Always have some more old things to see in York.

Pension Review
I got the pension review from one of the provider. That provider even made that summary into a video. I wasn't bother to view it, then it reminded me, so I finally logged in. It is the same thing as the letter. Ultimately it is to improve engagement and improve understanding.

Drawing Weird Shapes
I have been learning this new computer modeling software. My drawing skills can be improved. I drew a funny shaped building, but apparently I missed out a few odd bits. When I find the time, I need to practice more.

Seed Planting
I have yet to master my seed planting skills. There were a lot of seeds failed to sprouted, perhaps by keep them from drying, I got them too wet, perhaps they were too cold. I watched a few videos, but I think I just need to practice more.

Budgens Challenge
We mustered the courage to do Budgens' Too Good to Go again. It is a challenge, because their surprise bag is surprisingly large!
We got a lot of bread, a lot of cake this time. As well as some meat and ready meal type things. It was a good haul.

Push Bike
We had to move some waste, aka logs, up the street, instead of driving, I strapped it on the bike, like I used to do once upon a time. It worked well, definitely will remember to use those wheel again.

I think I have been too keen on watering the seedling, they only need to be moist. Let hope they will sprout properly now.

Birthday Chocolate: Venchi Dark Gianduia Hazelnut bar
Another one of the chocolate bar we got from Paris. Venchi is actually Italian. This is like a flatten Ferrero Rocher, except, better.
