Currack Force on Stonesdale

Currack Force was the second falls in our Keld waterfalls ramble.  It is on Stonesdale, which is a small beck, so it is a small fall and pretty much inaccessible.

Wain Wath Force on Swale

Wain Wath Force in Keld, being on the main road, was the first of our Keld waterfalls ramble.  It is fairly wide, but with a few dry days before our visit, doesn't seem so powerful.

Since it is just by the main road, it is easy for everyone to stop for a quick snap.

Aysgill Falls on Gayle

Aysgill Falls is only a short walk from Hawes. The footpath isn't the best, but the walk is fairly easy and worth a visit.

A little falls on Gayle at the beginning of the walk towards Aysgill.

Aysgarth Falls on Ure

Aysgarth Falls is quite famous, so going there on a bank holiday might have been a mistake.  We went there quite late in the afternoon, so it was not too bad.  I thought the parking would cost an arm and a leg, but it was actually not too bad.

A second pleasant surprise it that, there were total of three falls.  They are all very big and powerful, you really need some items/person to scale in picture.

Upper falls, nearest to carpark, ie busiest.

Middle falls, inaccessible.

Lower falls, most powerful.

Lower falls with human to scale.

Leeds is Lit Up

Leeds has lit up, not in a good way, on the covid map.  Now EOHO is over, we have no reason to go out again.

More? Artisan

We calfme across some More? Sourdough.   It is very good, giving Leeds Coop a run got their money.  I think More? has more salt.

Dolce Gusto

We got a chance to play with a Dolce Gusto machine, a question came to my mind - what's the point?  What an unenvironmentally friendly way to sell instant coffee and powdered milk!
