Kentchurch Court Cake

We stopped at Kentchurch Court for a morning coffee.  The self-service tea-room was literally self-serviced!  We had to boil our own kettle.  I had a slice of walnut cake, and it was very good!  Martin and Martin had different cakes, and they all loved it.  Have a guess which slice I picked!  Someone need some basic mathematics or a protractor!

They had some Victorian toilet system, ie wooden panels, etc.


When Martin signed about the bikes, and I asked him to throw in some diversity in the valley, so he added 'GBMCC' on the signature, I wonder now if they will Google us.

Summer Haircut II

I keep finding the odd hair sticking out, and I keep cutting them.  And it didn't take long before I get directed to men's toilet.


The bikers all said they liked it, as it is much similar to their haircut.  But really, I can't wait for them to start growing.

Summer Haircut

Due to an incorrect instruction at the barber, I now have very short hair!  When the clipper went in, it was too late to change the instruction.  This is the shortest I have ever had my hair cropped.  I don't know why I make this mistake about every 10 years!


I will just have to brave the cold when the Autumn and Winter sets in!

Iridium Sparks

Iridium sparks last longer but they don't last forever. I changed them anyway. There was no smoking gun to my problem. And as it turned out, it wasn't the cure either...

Chocolate Profiteroles Lunch

I picked up some marked down chocolate profiteroles from Weetons.  I am greedy, so instead of freezing it (which they did not come with freezing instructions) and sharing with friends later, I decided to have them for lunch.


There profiteroles were made by Sugar Therapy, they were very sweet, very chocolaty, as a result, I couldn't really taste the cream.  And even I have to admit it was a large portion for one sitting!


I have defeated it and I will not do this again!

Little Run in Harrogate District

I has a little ride after work.  The route is okay, a bit of farm track but generally okay.  It is quite scenic but very few stopping points and the reservoir was dry?!
