We stopped at Tynemouth: mouth of Tyne. We were already fed, so we didn't have the opportunity to get fish and chips. I have been to North Shields with Shelley once, we might have got fish and chips then.
I was surprise the beaches were fairly clean. The Priory was an added bonus.
