USA Grand Tour 2016 - Day 3 DC

We went back to the National Mall to see more of the museums and the monuments.  All the cherry blossom were gone, apparently due to recent high wind.We went to National Museum of American History and National Museum of the American Indians.  We ate at the NMAI cafeteria to have some Native American food, Sarah opted for a rice salad, and I opted for blue corn bread.  We passed on the fried bread!

We went to meet Kevin at Dupont circle at an agreed time, the old fashion way, as we had no mobile reception.  We took the Circulator to Georgetown.  We first went up to Georgetown campus, then walked past the old Georgetown with cobble and tram tracks, lastly we stopped for ice-cream at Thomas Sweet.  Their ice-cream is very well made, very food flavour and very generous!

We left Kevin to meet Sarah and Marie, we went to a Filipino restaurant.  I presented another Terry's Orange, and they also liked them.  After dinner, we walked home.
